Has A Story
Handpicked heirloom textiles transformed into one-of-a-kind creations, crafted exclusively for you — never repeated, never mass produced.
Amri's is the creative identity of Amritha — a personal luxury house built around a single belief: that a textile is not a product, but a living archive of hands, regions, and centuries of craft. Each season, Amritha travels through the weaving towns of India, walking the same streets her grandmother's generation once did, sitting beside master artisans whose families have practiced a single weave for ten, twelve, sometimes fifteen generations.
She visits the looms of Kanchipuram and Banaras, the ikat yards of Pochampally, the cotton villages of Kerala, the chikankari workshops of Lucknow. She listens. She learns the lineage of a weave before she ever lifts a saree from its folds. And when she chooses, she chooses one — only ever one — because the work of a master weaver should never be repeated, only honoured.
What returns to the atelier is then shaped — by hand, by intent, by the story of the person who will one day wear it. Embroidery, hand painting, crochet detailing, handmade tassels, custom borders, personalized blouses — every transformation is a dialogue between the textile and its future owner. No two creations are alike. No two will ever be alike. This is the only rule of the house.
Curated by Hand
Every textile is personally selected by Amritha from the looms of master artisans across India. No agent, no catalogue, no shortcut — only the slow, deliberate act of choosing one piece from a thousand, because that one spoke.
Crafted for You
Every detail of the final creation reflects your story — your colours, your rituals, your occasions. Hand embroidery, painting, crochet, tassels, borders, blouses; every technique is a chapter written for one reader alone.
Made Once
Never repeated. Never mass produced. One creation. One owner. The day a piece leaves the atelier, its design is retired forever — a single, unrepeatable weave between maker, wearer, and time.
Amri's is the parent identity — the artistic vision of Amritha. The Houses are expressions of that vision, each with its own craft, its own story, its own discipline.
“Every piece begins with a journey, is shaped by hand, and exists only once.”
